Kate Sutton Inspiration

Hello and happy Friday to you! I just love knowing that the weekend is almost here, this week felt especially long to me, what about you? Well at least we know it’s nearly time to enjoy happy hour and get our weekends underway! But first, let’s look at some lovely illustrative work to put us in a cheerful, creative mood! I don’t know about you, but I find myself regularly inspired by art, it can often lead to an outfit purchase, room design or personal crafting projects as the colors and patterns so often make the imagination run wild with ideas. One artist who is based in the UK who never fails to get my creative juices flowing is Kate Sutton. Are you familiar with her work? Illustrator Andrea Cobb

On Friday I talked about the new organization book from Chronicle called the Secrets of Simplicity, and I’m happy to report that I’ve not only finished reading it (and doing all of the written work inside) but I also made time to read The Alchemist, another book I’d been dying to read for a very long. It feels great to walk away from a weekend where I not only handled some work-related tasks, but also cooking, cleaning, errands and I finished two books. I also feel really excited to do a little Spring cleaning in the weeks ahead!
