indiDenim Customizable Jeans and GIVEAWAY
Posted on Mar 12, 2010 1:22:03 PM  |  By JuleeWilson

You know the drill when it comes to finding jeans: They are too short...too long...too big in the waist...too tight at the waist...won't fit over your shapely thighs...won't hug your slender thighs...not quite the right color...etc...etc!

Ahhhh, what does a gal need to do in order to find a perfectly fitting pair of jeans?

Well apparently, all we need to do is visit indiDenim.com! Thanks to a very passionate fan, I was recently introduced to this company. Known as the leading online denim destination, this site allows you to design your very own jeans down to the smallest details.

indiDenim (the "indi" comes from the word "individual") has developed the cutting-edge technology to produce original, custom-fit patterns based on simple information about your body type. Each pair of jeans that you design are stored in your own personalized Digital Closet, so ordering new styles or making adjustments takes just a few clicks of your mouse.

I also love the site's Design Vault feature, which allows you to shop styles created by other users and customize them to your measurements. Love it....since I'm always coveting a pair of jeans my girlfriend has. Now I can just swipe her design and guarantee they will fit!

AND....if you aren't happy with the final product the company guarantees a full refund on your order. Amazing.

With all that said, I am excited to extend to one of YOU this very unique and fun opportunity to design a pair of jeans! That's right, indiDenim is offering a fabulous GIVEAWAY to one of our readers. So sweet of them!

Simply send me a comment about your biggest jean-hunting woes (we can all learn from each others troubles) and I will randomly (names-in-a-hat style) choose a winner!

Happy individualizing!

My biggest problem is finding something that fits me in the waist but doesn't have too high a rise! I end up with grandma pants going all the way up to my bra. WTF?

I have trouble finding jeans that are small and fitted up top but long enough with some flare for my long legs and big feet (I am 5'11 with size 11 feet).

My biggest jeans-hunting woe is finding a pair that is just the right length. I am short at 5'1" and my legs are super short, and I spend forever trying on jeans to find a pair that aren't too long on me! Lately when I shop it seems like even the petite sizes or the 'ankle' length jeans are just way too long on me! It would be fantastic if I could customize my jeans at a site like this!

Matching my waist, to the length, to the stretch. Small waist, short legs, big hips. What a pain to shop! I mostly end up hunting down a tailor to hem!

My biggest problem with pants in general is ...everything. I'm 5'3'' so I'm shorter than average. Then I have a bigger butt, thighs and hips and a smaller waist so everything that fits my hips and thighs makes the waist band gap. It's ridiculous.

I'm juuust too tall for petites - they all leave a little bit too much of my ankle exposed, and don't quite cover the tops of my shoes... but also too short for "regulars" - and can't always afford to get everything professionally hemmed!

I have a big butt and a small waist. So if I find jeans that fit my waist, I cant get them on. If they make it past my butt, they're huge around the waist!!

My biggest woe is finding jeans that will rest at the perfect spot on my hips without sagging or giving me muffin top!

Posted by: Alena| Friday, March 12, 2010 at 02:42 PM

I always seem to be pulling my jeans up! So frustrating...

Posted by: Margarita| Friday, March 12, 2010 at 02:57 PM

I have no hips or butt to speak of, however I have a not so narrow post-baby waist. So either I have to suffer the embarassment of a muffin top, or look like my jeans are going to sag to the floor. Neither look is very attractive

The biggest problem is without a doubt the waist/hip ratio. I'm petite, but hemming can fix this problem. The waist/hips are always wrong!

For me it's all about the inseam...I am in between average and tall and we all know that jeans that are hemmed totally look like they were hemmed.

I'm tall, I have smaller waist but I have a booty and big thighs AND chubby knees (yes, it's possible!!), so this whole skinny jean trend, while adorable, is killing me. And even when I find a pair of jeans that does not make me feel *humiliated*, as soon as I wash them...it's OVER!

Omg. Want. Seriously, I have 2 pairs of jeans because NOTHING EVER FITS. This sounds amazing. I'm Puerto Rican and jean companies can't handle the ass ;-) Basically, jeans will be huge in the waist but make my butt look flat (which it is NOT, by any stretch of the imagination). I need pants that fit both my waist and my bum. Pretty please?

I can't find a pair that fit in the waist but are big enough in the rear! I always end up with a huge gap!

Posted by: Anna| Friday, March 12, 2010 at 05:08 PM

My biggest issue is the fact that I need something with some give that isn't too tight.
I must wear due to DVT (Deep vein throbosis) a compression stocking on my left leg. It is a thigh high version and if I have been on my leg for a time it will swell.
I am looking sor something that will not show the stocking where it starts and I also do not want Mom jeans.
I had jeans I loved when I was growing ups but then they stoped making them. They were Ruff Hewn and well then I went to Lee and loved them. Then they stopped making the version I liked. I haven't found anything since.

Jeans--please! I have long legs, no butt and a big tummy. Think they can fix all that???

Please pick me! I am only 5' and hate paying my tailor an outrageous amount of money to cut perfectly good pants!! I have heard great things about this company, too! Can't wait to check it out!!!!

I've always had trouble finding jeans - I'm petite and I have no backside. So in order to fit my waist, I end up being a member of the saggy-bottom band. If I fit my backside, it's uncomfortably tight in the waist. Alas, one day I went to Macy's to try on as many jeans as I could, desperate for at least ONE pair of jeans. I actually counted that day, and went through 40 different pairs in that sad dressing room. Not one fit. Not one!

I heard about this company a while back and have been curious to try them out. The thing I hate most about buying jeans is that I find a pair that fits in the store, but they never seem to fit the same after I take them home and wash them.
