I use baking soda for Exfoliating: Make a paste of 3 parts baking soda to 1 part water. I will either use it after washing my face with a gentle facial cleanser like Purpose or mix it with my cleanser to wash my face. It leave my skin so soft. By far the BEST exfoliator I’ve ever used!

Sebastian Shaper hairspray is the best hair spray out there. It’s so light, like a mist…you can brush through it…spray, brush through, spray again, blow dry, and spray to set! Also, it doesn’t leave your clothing or hair smelling like hair spray!

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs. It makes your legs look flawless (like spraying on the sheerest pantyhose). It’s transfer resistant so you don’t have to worry about it rubbing off on your clothes.

Bobbie Brown Gel Eye Liner. Stays put no matter what.....even if your eye lids are drippin of oil. Does not smudge or flake unless you take it off with a make up remover.

I have sooooooooooooooooooooooo many products that i like(and some of them they have discontinued..sob) I love oil of olay products.at night I cleanse my face with olay regenerating cleanser. then i use l'oreal "age perfect"
just retired in dec. 07 sometimes if just staying home i go without makeup.
if wearing makeup i use oil of olay total effects (base) and rachel perry's immediatley visible facelift(its good)and then i tryed a new makeup and i like it..maybelline "mineral power"........... and for mascara i love maballine 'lash stylist' it has the little comb and makes my lashes longer
then for hair I have a curly perm(hair naturally fine and straight) i have it cut in sort of a gyspy shag layered shorter on top and sides have used lots of styling aids just to have them discontinued ...right now i am using aussie dual personality spray gel w/ conditioner .i..spray it on more than a little (person has to judge for self) i like my curls to be a little crisp then either air dry( if staying home) or hair dryer with diffuser then with my hair a little crisp when i use my pick to pick my hair(picking under and head bent) it gives my hair more body and appears thicker
have bangs (curled) and then going back use curling iron with about three or four curls going back pick under for fullnes and then spray lightly.
also like rimmel eyeliner
i don't know what to do now as i am on my last bottle of aussie dual.( my is gel i noticed that someone on here mentioned dual mousse) if you have a grocery outlet near you sometimes you can find discontinued items .thats where i found aussie dual gel w/ cond but you have to buy alot cuz it won't be there next time i also found the rachel perry there paid $5.99 and at longs it is $24.99 bought alot of it..............(grin)
for lipstick i like cover girl bronze peach(have been useing it for years ) and use lippencil from sallys in cinnamon to outline. my skin is nice as i started using face cream at night when i was younger i have a few wrinkles (I am 66yrs. wow that's got to be a mistake..(smile) and alot of people think I am younger(act young ,dress young am am blessed to have a nice figure (gained a few lbs. need to go walking) and I am single. but get alot of looks.
thats enough about me ......oh I am a "nan" hailey 11 yrs and evan 8 yrs and my daughter shari 33yrs.

Loriel Vive Dry Defense- world's best hair conditioner!
I have always had long fine hair, but as many other long-haired women know, knots, tangles and dry rough texture causes breakage.
I am a hairdresser's daughter, age 55, and have never found a product so consistently perfect for long hair as Loriel Vive Dry Defense. It gives my hair incredible volume while feeling silky and glossy. It makes it easy to comb when wet, and brush when dry. It says it is for color treated or highlighted hair, but that is a limiting statement. It works great on all hair types and lengths and will not weigh your hair down or create residue.
My hair never gets tired of it. I use it every time I shampoo my hair.
I am terrified that I have been having trouble finding it in the stores recently. I can't live without it.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, a life saver, as an acne sufferer and as someone who had chicken pox as an adult (24!) I credit this as allowing me to have no scarring on my face. It's also unparalled in saving your skin after a sunburn, expensive yes, but totally worth it!
Cetaphil moisturizing cream, the texture is similar to very pricey facial moisturizers for sensitive skins, it's allergy free, free of perfumes and dyes. I use it all over, and if I want a scented body cream, I mix in a bit of perfume and lotion away. Since I love to switch fragrances a lot, it's soo much cheaper than buying a co-ordinating body cream or lotion in every fragrance. You can even mix in essential oils for any type of scent you want.
Pantene hair conditioner for "women of color", this conditioner rocks. My hair is very corse and thick and has a tendendy to frizz, a little of this goes a long way and my hair is healthy smooth shiny and easy to comb thru.
Honorable mention: Sun silk frizz therapy leave in creme. again, takes away the frizzies and leaves my hair shiny soft and healthy. enhances my curl too. Estee Lauder lip conditioner, the BEST conditioner I've tried, nothing else comes close, they're either too waxy or don't stay on. this stuff lasts plus has an spf or did the last time I bought it.

1. Bare Escentuals Foundation Primer - smooths skin and keeps make up from filling in the fine lines around my eyes.

2. Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide - smooths hair and helps calm frizzies. Works great with a hair straightener.

3. Blistex Lip Medex - mentholated so works for everyday on the lips or applied on and under the nose to sooth it when it's sore and stuffy from a cold.

I can't go anywhere without mascara and being a stay-at-hom mommy I can't afford an expensive one. Therefore, I had to switch and will never pay more after trying Max Factors's Volume Couture Mascara. It gives me long, full lashes after a couple of brushes.

I cannot live without:
1. brow gel (in a brown shade...keeps my brows shaped and gives them a darker shade)
2. lip gloss
3. aloe gel. I use it on my face before light foundation. It firms my skin and serves as a moisturizer.

Eucerin Facial Cleanser; Alberto VO5 hairdressing cream--really, this stuff is terrific and is great as a polish for silver, too.

Cetphil Cleanser and Retin-A Micro are my two essential facial products. As for body products, I have to go with Vanicream. It is the best moisturizer ever created. Not only does it keep skin looking and feeling great, you can use it as a shaving cream, lip balm, and to help seal in topical medications. It is also the best best make-up remover I've ever used. Cold cream has nothing on this stuff. Trust me, I used to sing in a Sweet Adelines Quartet. The only people that wear more make-up then SAs are drag queens. I'm also becoming quite fond of Aveeno Ultra Calming w/ SPF 15. Light, smells nice, and doesn't make my face greasy.

Cetaphil Facial Cleanser for sensitive skin. It takes make-up off well, and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry and tight. With the money I save using it, I can afford to spend a little more on the Aveda treatment line that has completely changed my skin for the better.

Johnson & Johnson (or store brand) Baby Oil Gel for really dry skin - feet, elbows, etc. It only costs a couple of dollars, and a little goes a long way.

My three favorites, #1 I could not live without Nail Envy by OPI. It's a nail strengthener that really works. I no longer break nails, that is a miracle! It comes in original ( shiny) or matte finish, and dries much faster than regular nail polish so it goes on quickly.
#2 Cucmber Lotion from Indian Springs, Calistoga California. It is a very light lotion that is wonderful for dry skin in hot weather as it moisurizes without being heavy and dries almost powdery to keep you feeling dry not sticky.
#3. Bag Balm, the horse and cow ointment. I use it for very dried out hands or feet, Apply and cover with gloves for cotton socks for overnight conditioning.

and another great Cover Girl has an all day lipstick that really lasts, Comes in a blue tube with its own conditioner in second tube. I can eat, drink and kiss through it.

This is so hard to narrow down, but I've got to say that Oscar Blandi dry shampoo is amazing. I have fine hair and I get that greasy crown late in the day, so does my husband, and this powder makes it drier and adds volume.
Maria Evora Beach Rose body cream! Smells fantastic after my nightly shower and makes my sheets smell good too.
And finally, that Origins peppermint-y face wash. Foamy, sudsy, but non-drying and great smelling!
