Since I am in my seventies and have boxes, and boxes of pictures, I was always going to put them in albums.... It was time to share them with family and friends. I put the names and places on the back and mailed them to relatives and friends. They were all so happy to receive them. Many had never seen those pictures before and wanted to explain to their family who these relatives were. Some said, they had tears in their eyes when they received the pictures it brought back so many wonderful memories. They can copy them or put them in albums etc. It sure gave me a good feeling to know that these pictures will be enjoyed by many instead of sitting in boxes in my closet.

Great online boutique called Coco Målé. Based in London's Notting Hill (but ships worldwide), it offers a very good and unique selection of home accessories and gift ideas.

To Vanessa (who posted on here earlier): I tried one of those "my pair tree" flip flop holders and LOVED it, too. I had buy a few more for my nieces' birthdays, because all that they wear are flip flops !! Even during the colder months.

Unlikely, but true, usawallpaper.com and decoratetoday.com. has some really interesting unique to whimsical home accessories aside from wallpaper. I accidentally discovered these sites looking for (you guessed it) wallpaper. Well, they do sell beautiful wallpaper but they also have other great accessories for the home too- and at very affordable prices! I love the candles and candle holders at usawallpaper.com!

omegatoo.com
Their tagline is " Everything you need to make your old house look like old again." Great for finding funky wall sconces, glass shades, iron curtain rods, knobs, handles, Craftsman doors, etc. My favorite is the Griffin light chandeleir, go figure.

Master Garden Products in California for the best and bamboo chairs. They look so nice at a kitchen table. More sturdy then the folding ones. Beautiful and arrive in one piece.

There's a great new movement called Daily Painters. They paint original art at affordable prices, bypassing expensive galleries. Some of them are showcased here: http://dailypainters.com. Here's one artist in particular: http://kimberlyapplegate.blogspot.com
