"Boys of Summer" by Don Henley
This song is a must for any summer soundtrack; it's hot and sweaty with just the right amount of melancholy that directly coincides with summer's fleeting nature.

"Could you be loved/and be loved" by Bob Marley and Damien Marley. Perfect, laid-back, sun-drenched reggae tune.

"This magic moment" by Jay and the Americans. Ahhh... even though I grew up in the 90's this tune reminds me of my childhood summer everytime I hear it.

"America the Beautiful"-- the Ray Charles version. Reminds me of carefree 4th of July nights.

Anything by the Beach boys but especially "kokomo"-- kind of cheesy, but a fun song

"Summertime" both the original Porgy and Bess awesome soprano version and the Fresh Prince/DJ Jazzy Jeff version. So good.

I'm so glad you included John Fogerty's Centerfield as one of the songs to download because that is my favorite summer song. I'm a baseball FANatic and because Centerfield was inspired by Willie Mays and is played at my favorite ballpark-ATT Park in San Francisco, CA-whenever Willie Mays is in the house.
