I had a weekend that was book-ended in wonderful weddings that shared one particularly successful element in common- the Polaroid Guest book. This isn't the first time we've had these at a client's wedding and I'm sure many of you readers have heard about them, but take it from me, time and again, they are consistent crowd pleasers and make a guest book worth visiting again and again. My one thought about how to improve them is a backdrop. A backdrop can add an element of fun to your photo guest book and up the ante a bit in terms of style. It's also a great way to create that Photo booth feeling without the cost of renting one. The Best Do-It-Yourself Wedding Photo Books

Now that the nuptials are over and I have scads of photos to sort through, I've been hunting for the best online do-it-yourself wedding photo books. A few I've been perusing: 1. KodakGallery.com: I made a book from Kodak after my shower. Very easy and inexpensive, and most of my family uses this site so I have lots of shared images to pull from. Maybe not the fanciest out there but if you just want a simple book of your photos, this is a good bet. They're having a sale right now on photos books. $10 for pocket photo books; $30 for classic. Check it out. 2. Shutterfly: You can add text to the spine and lots of personalized notes throughout which is great. 3.
