Taking a break from my own all-important wedding, let's see how the other half lives (the ones who live in the White House). As I'm sure you already know, on Saturday, May 10, Jenna Bush married Henry Hagar in Crawford, Texas.
Brides.com has a nice photo gallery of the wedding , albeit the same images just about every other site has. Other wedding bloggers have been all a-twitter with reviews: Aisle Dash: "Not overwhelming, but undeniably gorgeous." Paris Celebrations: "I'm in love with this dress!" Wedding Tips Blog: "As you can see her wedding was very relaxed and low key. No glitz and glamour here folks!" Village Voice: The newspaper's blog makes the case that since the press wasn't allowed in the event, every media outlet is running the same photos. "What this means is that the Post and the Daily News are running the same pictures and using the same quotes from the president about how "spectacular" the day was." Man, a blog writing about how other people are covering an event? That's kind of a cop-out. Oh wait... (Photo: Shealah Craighead/White House) br> br> --Margit Detweiler

I absolutely love her dress! Stunning modern touches, but definitely a classic. (Google Tricia Nixon's wedding dress for her White House wedding in the Rose Garden - I love that one, too!)
