Kristin is an assistant editor at Real Simple, where she reports and writes for several sections of the magazine, including Solutions, Body, and Life.

As a recent transplant to New York City from Kansas City, she continually strives to maximize the little space she has in her Harlem apartment, while trying to fit in all kinds of DIY projects on the weekends. Next on her crafting agenda: printing her own letterpress stationery, and figuring out if there’s enough room in apartment to start silk-screening again.
