I hit Target yesterday and spotted darling things for Valentine's Day but with most on a budget these days, I looked for things that could take you from V Day and beyond. It's hard to justify purchasing a set of mixing bowls JUST for a holiday! Here are a few of my favorite finds from Target right now that can definitely be used post February 14th:
A. Heart Mixing Bowls (set of 3) $30, B. Mini glass votives (set of 3) $12.99, C. Window Clings $1.99 which I'd love to see in a child's bedroom, D. Heart shaped white and pink balloons - cute for a bridal shower, wedding, or tied to the back of a car post wedding $12.99 for 50, E. Love Bird bag 1.99 and Owl Love You Forever gift bag $2.99, F.. Owl wash mitt $3.99 for the kiddies, and finally G. the Owl latte mug set of 4 $19.99 which could easily double as a pencil cup, paint brushes, or to use as a small vase. Target has lots of pink, white and red products currently that range from spatulas to post-it notes with bird graphics like the ones shown above. Most of it will be gone by the 14th though so don't wait if you spot something that you like! (images from target)

It is so whimsical and sweet, plus, as you noted, it can be used outside of the February Valentine's window, which makes it hard to resist : ). I'm especially eye-ing the mixing bowls since I don't have any (kind of crazy, huh?). And that owl mug which is precious, too. Any chance you wanted to sell the owl mugs now? I tried to order them online, and Target sent me 2 delays and then last week, said they didn't have them!! Thanks, |

I just adore adore ADORE this stuff. I squealed when I stumbled upon it in Target a few weeks ago and then proceeded to buy more than 7 items in the collection. Darn my owl obsession; but yay Target.
(and I actually DO use that owl latte mug as a pencil cup now!)
