If I'm going out to eat with friends for dinner, I'll grab my Braces Pouch and my Essential Envelope only. When I go to the gym, I only toss into my purse my Gym Pouch and my Essential Envelope. If I'm going shopping at the mall, I take my Essential Envelope and my Flat Wallet. A night out on the town might include my Braces Pouch, Makeup Envelope, and Essential Envelope. I use only clear plastic pockets so that I can always see what is inside a pouch. Having designated pouches means that I can continue to carry a small purse and only take with me the things I need.
Posted by: Scott Roewer| February 19, 2009 at 11:49 AM Wow, this is a terrific tip. I also like to carry small purses and keep things in my purse to the minimum. This makes it that much more organized. :) This is a great idea but I prefer using a purse organizer that can be pulled out of one and put into another, taking all of your purse contents with it. Its never fun to try to retrieve something needed only to remember that it got left in your other purse. Great suggestion. I use the clear bags (pictured first with red zippers) to organize the supplies I take with me when I work with my clients. I keep pens in one, sticky notes and sticky flags in another, sharp objects in another, and so-on. The clear pockets are very helpful to keep the supplies organized. I carry them in a garden tote and can quickly grab what I need without searching.
