I came across the most charming blog the other day authored by a young twentysomething couple based in Richmond, Virginia. It's called This Young House and it's a great blog to read if you are looking for decorating inspiration as they offer $45 color consults (per room), $200 mood boards for readers with decorating dilemmas, and since they both blog full-time The Young House updates about twice daily so there is always plenty of fresh content. As I browsed their site for the first time this week, I came across their personal home tour, they took their 50 year old home and completely renovated it with charming results. You can see the complete before and after here along with all of their notes, but I think you will enjoy a bit of a sneak peek so I've included a few photos from their home below. Every room looks like perfection on a platter! It's like a cut and paste from a Pottery Barn or West Elm catalog, and the colors they've used on the walls are so soothing. Very pretty, I'm impressed with the results.

So uncluttered and clean, what a gorgeous little home for these first time home owners. I must say that for twentysomethings, they are doing quite well for themselves and think they have great taste and a beautiful blog. Great work, This Young House.
