It's Friday so a big virtual hug to all who made it through yet another week! Ha! Time for the weekend and since I'm feeling excited today that it's Friday (this week was usually busy for me), I thought I'd share a little something that looks like how I feel: The work of Sara Ahearn because it's bright and happy. A print from Sara's collection would certainly perk up any home -- I own "Pink Dogwood" and cannot wait to hang it though I'm still looking for the perfect spot. My dream is to own an Ahearn original...someday!

Sara is a mixed media artist from New England who currently lives in Ithaca, New York. About her work Sara says, "My paintings are layered with found images, fragments of text from old books, and pieces of outdated maps...these ephemera become the fabric and focus of many of my paintings."
