The premise of Carbonrally is turning those small changes we all can make into challenges and showing the projected results of those who participate. It might be just the motivation you need to actually change your ways. And while they have some of the green ideas that we've heard 8 million times before (change to CFLs, stop drinking bottled water) they also have suggestions you don't hear as often (bring a travel mug to the coffee shop, unplug your computer each night.) To make it easy, the challenge lasts for a specific amount of time--anywhere from a week to a month. Making small goals definitely makes it easier to accomplish. What do you think? Would joining a web site like this help you? Or is it just a good place to get ideas? (logo and screen shot from carbonrally.com)

I've been doing this for a month. I drink tap water I keep in a glass bottle in the frig. I make an extra pot of coffee, cool it, and freeze it in ice cube trays for smoothies and iced coffee drinks.
