If You Had a Food Tattoo...
Posted on Aug 29, 2008 7:56:00 AM  |  By KathleenHarris

2325527053_89c796ae59_m...what would you get? In a recent Adventures in Chaos post, Kristin notes that it seems everyone in America has a tattoo. Inspired by TheKitchn.com's feature of food tattoo galleries, from the sweet (cupcakes) to the slightly insane (Rachael Ray on your back?), I starting contemplating, what food item would I want to be marked with forever?

This steak on the finger cracks me up, but I think I would have to go with something a little sweeter like a tiny tomato. Alas, I would never go through with it. Would you?

I'd get sushi I think. My husband sort of wants to get a tattoo of a corned beef sandwich and a pickle.

I'd go for a full stalk of rhubarb -- leaves on.

I'm personally seriously considering getting a spatula on the inside of my lip.

A glass of milk-it does the body good.

It would change a lot. Perhaps a Hershey's Kiss, to start with.

Yeah, I was thinking the vegetable route too, just because it looks cute & earthy. How about a carrot with the green sprouts coming out of the top?

I have a food tattoo! It's a peach on the inside of my right wrist.

I would get a small mixing bowl with a spoon in it. I absolutely love to cook, and I would want something that reflected my cooking expertise rather than my guilty pleasures!
