It's hard to imagine Thanksgiving being complete without a slice of whipped-cream topped pumpkin pie, but there's also more than one way to enjoy the must-have flavor of the holiday at your Thanksgiving feast! Two of my favorite ways: pumpkin cocktails and creative desserts! Here are 10 sweet examples:

PUMPKIN COCKTAILS

1. Vanilla Pumpkin Pie
{via hostesswiththemostess.com}

Ingredients:
2 parts Absolut Vanila vodka
1 part pumpkin schnapps
Splash of cream
Nutmeg

Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well, then strain into a martini glass. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

2. Pumpkin French 75
{via cocktailtimes.com}

Ingredients:
1 oz. Plymouth Gin
1 oz. Pumpkin Puree
1 1/2 oz. Fresh Lemon juice
1 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup

Champagne
Directions:
Shake all ingredients (except Champagne) in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain the mixture into a Champagne flute. Top with chilled Champagne and serve.
