Someone recently brought my attention to these sparkly pumpkins from Ovando, a full service floral company with a shop in NYC's West Village. Sandra Ovando has an eye for dramatic compositions that are "deceptively simple" - as you can see. Starting at just $15 for the mini-size, I think they're the perfect addition to any spooky-chic tableau.

Can't get to the shop? My colleague Jessica suggested she'd try crafting her own sparkly pumpkins, using spray glue and glitter from the craft store. (It can't be any messier than carving, right?)
