Kristin is the associate editor at RealSimple.com, where she writes and edits for the site. She is also the voice behind Real Simple's Facebook and Twitter accounts. (So please, come say hello.) Prior to joining the web team, Kristin was an assistant editor on the print magazine reporting and writing for several sections of the magazine including Solutions and Health. Originally from Kansas City, Kristin moved to New York in 2007 after graduating from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. After 3 years living in a small apartment in Harlem, Kristin moved to a slightly larger space in Brooklyn in April 2010. She spends her weekends doing D.I.Y. projects, making ice cream (during the summer) and scones (during the winter), and visiting all the restaurants and boutiques in her neighborhood.
