You’ve just stepped off of a long flight, you’re tired, and you’ve schlepped
your luggage to the rental car counter in the hopes that you can just pick up
the keys and go. Instead, you’ve got more decisions to make. Do you want collision coverage? Personal accident insurance? Supplemental liability? Perhaps you’d like to protect yourself in the event of a freak
tornado?

Do You Really Need Rental Car Insurance?
How to be Happier: Identify the Problem.
One of my Twelve Commandments is to “Identify the problem.” Often I’ll put up with a minor problem or an irritation for years, simply because I haven’t taken a minute to consider the nature of the problem and how it might be solved. This rule seems so obvious that I’m surprised that it has proved so tremendously helpful. Nevertheless, it has.
Do You Eat in the Car?
For many families, including mine, road trips have replaced plane travel in these belt-tightening times. One upside is that my food choices are no longer limited to the soggy sandwiches sold in airport kiosks. Instead, I can pack whatever I like, including plenty of bottles of water. (Ahhh, freedom from the security gate.) Better still, I can stop to eat […]
Keeping the “Team” Organized
Anyone who has ever been in, or tried to coordinate with, a large wedding party knows the woes the can ensue. In addition to the million emails with women you may or may not know, there are those awkward moments of saying yay or nay to attire and hairstyles. Well, these may all become problems of the past with eWeddingTeam.com
My Two New Spring Fragrances: One For Day, One For Night
It’s time again to lighten up the fragrance routine, and I’ve just put two new favorites in rotation: One I spritz on before heading to the office, and another I usually save for weekend evenings out.

$2,700—higher than last year, and not an un-sizable chunk of change. But the real difference is what people are doing with it.
Does Facebook Boost Happiness — Or Not?
If you’re like me, you’ve had conversations with your friends about Facebook – whether to jump in or not. I’m a big fan, so I’m always trying to convince the skeptics to join.
Those who haven’t joined often make happiness-based arguments against it. “Instead of making plans and meeting face to face and doing things,” one friend told me, “everyone’s typing away in front of a screen, alone. I want to see my friends! Or at least communicate with them directly.”
Last-Minute Tax Tools and Help on the Web
I know you’re out there because I’m with you, holding onto tax
returns until the last possible moment since we have to attach checks.
If you’ve got some last-minute questions or are making a final sweep to
see if there are any deductions you have missed, I’ve pulled together
some good web resources to get the on-deadline job done.
Addressing the Issue
This is about the time that summer and fall brides start thinking about getting those wedding invitations out the door (and if it isn’t, it should be). You may be wondering exactly HOW you should go about addressing the envelopes. Calligraphy has been a wedding standard, but when watching a budget it’s easy to make that the first thing to go and run your envelopes through your at home printer. I typically advise brides NOT to go that route. a style=”float: left;” href=”http://simplystated.realsimple.com/.a/6a00d8345165de69e20115701af7ef970b-pi”>
