I was reading Curbed this morning that designer/show host Nate Berkus has his Chicago home on the market for a fat $2.65M, the same place we drooled over back in a past issue of Elle Decor magazine. Remember his gorgeous 4,000-square-foot lakeside crib? If you’re a Nate fan, of course you do. Well all this can be yours… well perhaps not all — I can’t be sure, but I’d want the full monty, it would need to be furnished with Nate’s lovely things.

Ferm Living Spring/Summer 2011
My friend is the new rep for Ferm Living in Germany so I’ve been waiting for her to share their latest catalog with me and it’s here! Jonathan Lo from Happy Mundane posted it first, so I can’t take credit, but here are some additional images that show their new collection for Spring/Summer 2011. I agree with Jonathan when it comes to some of their kids products when he said, “Move over kids, these are mine!” – for sure, Jonathan!
Supermarket Sarah
I wrote about an amazing online vintage shop based in London called Supermarket Sarah nearly a year ago on decor8 but I continue to be impressed by her clever things. Would you like to see why? Well founder/shop keeper Sarah Bagner lives near the great markets of Portobello Road where she scours for treasures to put in her online store and she has a rather interesting concept… She styles walls in her home and photographs them to put on her site. Magnificient, right!? Here are some exampes…

A new year is here and with that, a slew of new interiors books coming your way for 2011! Letterbox Co. + DIY Number Stencils
After I wrote this post on decor8 the other day, a bunch of readers wrote in asking for tips on where to find some of the items shown in some of the photos. I did a little research and found the Letterbox Co. — have you heard of this quaint Australian online shop? It’s a lovely find for you today, the goods are simple and nice… I particularly love the natural paper tape, kraft paper, stenciled numbers adorning tags and clipboards, and other understated beauties.

Muuto Wood Lamp
Meet a new gift to myself, the wood lamp designed by TAF Architects for Muuto in Denmark. Isn’t it the best? I love the simplicity of it, the exposed cord, visible screws, raw wood… it’s a nice contrast to the more modern lighting that is out there isn’t it?
