You've Got to Hear It to Believe It

We gave Baby a CD of lullaby versions of Rolling Stones songs over the weekend. Just listen to this one. This is either a crime against modern cultural history, a bad dream, or a genius way to get your one-year-old to appreciate good music. I’m just not sure which.

What a hoot! Mick et al are laughing all the way to the bank and it still sounds good, even as a lullaby.

Gotta say, I love it! Baby will be humming Rolling Stones tunes by 2 and ready for the words by 5.

If I were a music theory teacher, I would require my students to listen to this. It is "Paint it Black" as a simple chord progression. It is clear and ,who would ever think one would describe this song as, "lovely."

That is tremendous! I think that may go on my list of potential gifts for new arrivals.

Wonder if the 'Stones' will purchase these lullabies for their own grandchildren! lol
