Recycle Those Bridesmaid Dresses You’ll Never Wear Again

June 9, 2014 | By | Comments (1)

bridesmaids_300Your best friend simply had to have her bridesmaids donned in a mint chiffon gown, so you forced a smile and forked over the cash knowing full well you’d never wear the dress again. The good news? There’s no need to let that mint-colored monstrosity take up valuable real estate in your closet.

If you’re hoping to make a few bucks on your dud (perhaps to buy another bridesmaid dress?), try selling your dress on Ebay or Bridesmaid Trade, a site dedicated to fixing the plight of bridesmaids everywhere.

Or, donate unwanted dresses to organizations like The Princess Project or Donate My Dress that provide prom and special occasion dresses to girls who can’t otherwise afford them.

I always try to recycle my bridesmaid dresses by getting them altered to fit my style or just giving them away to my local church. Great article.
