How to Remove Juice and Berry Stains

berry-shakes_300As juicy as those berries looked in the carton, they’re not quite as cute when they get on your clothes afterward. Fortunately, there’s a pretty straightforward way to get those blue, purple, and red stains out.

For fabric, scrape up any solids, then apply a solution of warm water and dish soap. Remove soap residue with a damp towel and then blot. If the stain persists, blot on an ammonia solution with a warm, damp towel.
