Cherry tomatoes can be a delicious addition to any dish or shine alone as a main ingredient. And although they’re super tasty, cutting up large amounts of them up can be a time-consuming affair… That is, until now. With this easy trick, you’ll be able to slice and dice your way through cartons of cherry tomatoes in no time. Just follow these easy steps:
1. Take a knife and two saucers of the same size.
2. Place as many tomatoes that will fit on one saucer and then take the other saucer and place it face-down on top of the tomatoes.
3. Next, while firmly holding the top saucer in place so as to keep the tomatoes from moving, carefully slide your knife (moving it back and forth if necessary) between the two plates. When done, remove the top plate to reveal a bevy of beautifully halved tomatoes.
4. Pretend that it took you just loads of time to cut up all those tomatoes (sigh!) so that every praises you for your hard work.
