An Easy Way to Keep Track of Medical Records

Illustration of a child at the doctorKids often need to show proof of immunizations for school, camp, and after-school activities. Unfortunately, keeping an accurate and up-to-date log of your family’s immunization records tends to be more difficult than it sounds.

To avoid frantic phone calls and extra visits to the doctor’s office, one Real Simple reader suggests taking a photo of immunization records before you leave the doctor’s office and storing the snapshot in a private photo album entitled “Kids.” This way, you’ll always have the correct information handy and can even print out and attach a copy of the record, if necessary.
