How to Spot a Liar

crossed-fingers_300You learned that honesty is the best policy as a child, but it seems like some people missed that day in kindergarten. If you suspect someone of fibbing to your face, look for these telltale signs of deceit.

Scratching their nose. The adrenaline rush of lying can cause capillaries to expand, making the nose itch.

Prolonged eye contact. A liar doesn’t want to come off as shifty, so he or she may overcompensate by staring for too long.

Hiding their hands. If a confidant shoves her hands into her pockets or clasps them behind her back, proceed carefully; those are signs of dishonesty.

Still afraid of getting fooled? Find more tricks from an FBI criminal profiler, an assistant principal, and other professionals who come into frequent contact with falsehoods.

I hate it when some one is laying straight to my face ,you even give them time to change their story but know they stick to it ,then I will never trust anything that comes out of your mouth or take you seriously .

Way too simplistic! Some people are professional liars, just look at our current government.
