A Money-Saving Tip for Planning a Trip

iphone-passport_300Say you’re planning a trip to a destination that’s hours away—Do you drive? Fly? Take a train? Making the decision can be quite time consuming, but a new feature on Google Maps makes the daunting task easier.

All you have to do is type in your starting point and destination, and Google Maps conveniently lets you compare all of your travel options. Simply click the car, plane, or train (or bike, if you’re feeling particularly adventurous!) icon to see how long it will take and approximately how much it will cost. For added convenience, you can even book a flight right through your map.
