Mad Genius Cooking Tips from Food & Wine

fourcal-eggs-mushroom_galThe past few years, I’ve gotten pretty into cooking. And, I must admit, I’ve made some delicious meals. But I’m no expert and I’ve definitely had my fair share of cooking fails. Thankfully, the Internet exists and is filled with plenty of real experts who are ready to help with my kitchen woes.

One of the most helpful (and coolest) video series I’ve come across lately is from Food & Wine. Justin Chapple’s Mad Genius Cooking series demonstrates all kinds of useful things such as how to cut cheese with dental floss and how to perfectly poach an egg.

In my personal favorite video, he demonstrates how to separate egg yolks from the whites with an empty plastic bottle. As a brunch lover who prefers egg whites, this video has proven very useful for me.
