My husband, kids and I live in tight quarters. It is a New York City apartment, after all. I’m not complaining. I love the city and am willing to sacrifice space. But in light of our space issues, I can’t horde. Especially not in the bathroom, which is itsy bitsy. So I share a lot of my husband’s beauty products. Here are some manly goods I recommend—should you want to consolidate with your significant other or simply check them out:
• Aveda Men Pure-formance Grooming Clay, $23. This clear paste adds texture to ends and keeps frizzy bits from popping up. A little goes a long way. The fresh earthy scent is sublime.
• Gillette Mach3 Razor, around $7, depending on the drugstore. The heft of this razor feels good in my small lady hands. It keeps me from pushing down too hard and nicking myself.
• Dior Homme by Christian Dior, $62. Ok, so he doesn’t actually wear this one, but I do. It has amber, vetiver, and lavender. And may have been made for a man, but it’s perfect for this woman.
• Edge Gel, around $2 at drugstores. Couple this with my, I mean his, Mach3 and you have a recipe for the smoothest legs ever.
