The Best Nude Shades for Eyes

November 26, 2013 | By | Comments (2)

IMG_1733In our December 2013 issue (currently on newsstands), we featured the winners of our Makeup Palette Road Test. Unfortunately, one palette was not available at the time we were testing: Urban Decay’s Naked3 ($52 at Sephora and Ulta). But it is now, and I feel it merits a spot in the Palette Hall of Fame.

Let’s call it a winner in the You’ve Probably Worn and Loved All of These Shades at One Point or Another in Your Life and Here They All Are in One Convenient Place category. In short, the palette features 12 truly wearable takes on pink that suit any skin tone, from a nude-pink for every day, to a more raspberry sparkly pink for evening. All the colors start off sheer (code for goof-proof) but can be layered to build intensity once you’re ready to commit.

IMG_1732Is the palette a tad steep in price? Yes, but it may also be the last eye makeup palette you’ll ever need—at least until you blow through all the shades and need to re-up.
