Don’t Set Your Hot Water Above This Temperature

Have you checked the temperature of your hot water recently? According to Ambit Energy, an energy provider in deregulated states across the United States, the water heater eats up as much as 25 percent of your home’s annual energy costs.

To chip away at that percentage, lower the water heater temperature to 120° Fahrenheit. At this temperature, the shower will still get hot enough (chances are you won’t even notice the difference) but you’ll be saving both money and energy.

It will take you MANY years to recover the costs of the tankless water heater installation.
