Looking for something fun to do this weekend? In honor of the National Park Service’s birthday, this Sunday, August 25, entrance fees to the country’s national parks will be waived.

Mark your calendars now: You can also take advantage of entrance fee-free days on September 28 and November 9-11 in honor of National Public Lands Day and Veteran’s Day, respectively.

And, don’t forget, 268 of the 401 national parks never charge an entrance fee!

Find a park or see more fun family activities.

August 25th is a Sunday, and that’s the day admission is free, NOT Saturday!
