Our friends at FitSugar.com suggest that there are plenty of reasons to workout to music: it motivates, helps beat boredom, sets the pace, and can lead to longer workouts.
As someone who can’t head out for a run without headphones and a good playlist, I’d have to agree. I find myself running faster and for longer distances when I’m simultaneously enjoying some good tunes.
That being said, after a few weeks (if I’m exercising regularly….), I find that my playlist could use a little refresher. Now, thanks to this article on FitSugar.com, I have seven great playlists to turn to the next time I need to revamp my workout mix!
