Because they spend so much time sitting near salt water, beach chairs have a tendency to rust. To prevent it from happening to your favorite chairs, give them a quick rinse with fresh water before you fold them up  and take them to the car. (This small step will banish built-up salt.) Once you get the chairs home, use a towel to wipe them down. For preventative care, coat the frame base with car wax: The oil will repel salt and water.
