Don’t head indoors just because the wind is picking up. Instead, make wind less of an issue by skipping the tablecloth. If you can’t bear to part with linens, hold them in place by sandwiching each corner with a pair of mutually attracting magnets. Use pretty rocks or shells to keep napkins and paper plates from taking flight. And, finally, wrap silverware (or plasticware!) in napkins and tie off with decorative twine.
