How to Serve Ice Cream to a Crowd

Need to feed a bunch of hungry kids? Avoid a mess by starting to scoop before the party even begins.

Line a cupcake pan with baking cups, place individual servings in each liner, and keep the frozen treat in the freezer for a few hours leading up to the party. Once you’re ready to serve, pull out the tray and divvy the scoops onto plates.

How does that “avoid a mess”? The scoops still go “onto plates” (or bowls, in my case) so there’s still the same amount of dishes . . . but with this, there’s now the pan and the ever-difficult task of finding room in the freezer for it. I think the only thing this does is make it quicker for “the crowd” to get the treat come the time of serving.
