The word of the day is cronut. Even if you’ve never heard of it–for the record, it’s a half croissant, half doughnut–you can certainly imagine how delicious they could be. Anything that comes from the root donut has to be amazing. Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York City has been credited as the genius behind this new confection. And there is even a website (cronut.org) devoted to the “cronut movement.”
