After a sweaty workout you may feel good, but all that perspiration can leave your clothes smelling stinky. Follow these quick laundry tips to cure the stench.

Instead of throwing post-workout clothes straight into you gym bag, give them a quick rinse in the sink, wring out as much water as possible, place them in a plastic bag, then toss them in your tote. The dark, confined nature of a gym bag can facilitate the growth of bacteria, so be sure to remove dirty clothes as soon as you get home and wash them according to the label directions.

To get your gear as clean as possible, use the hottest water your clothes can handle and wash with an enzyme-formulated detergent like 2x Ultra Tide (To buy: $9, cvs.com) to help break down perspiration stains.
