Simply add three capfuls of baby oil to a warm bath and submerge your body for at least 20 minutes, then exfoliate with a loofah. This tactic can fade the color by about 80 percent. To lighten a few glaring streaks or spots, rub them with a cut lemon for 2–3 minutes. And to avoid blotches the next time, remember to exfoliate and apply a water-based moisturizer before you apply the tanner. Then put on one thin coat (not a drop more!), and blend thoroughly.
