How to Clean Your Dishwasher

Open Dishwasher

If you’re guilty of letting food-caked plates sit in your dishwasher for too long, your machine might develop a funk. To get it clean and smelling fresh again use this trick.

Run your machine empty on a full cycle, but instead of dishwasher detergent, use 2 cups of white vinegar. It will naturally deodorize the appliance.

And remember, scraping food off before loading will go a long way to keeping your dishwasher running smoothly.

Running a cycle with nothing but a pack of lemonade koolaid poured in will remove hard water stains and leave your diswasher smelling wonderfull and looking wonderful…..all for what….10 cents?

Do you have to run it on a hot/sanitize setting?

Where do you pour it? Pretty sure 2 cups of anything won’t fit in the dispenser.
