Would You Use a Personal Trainer…Via Webcam?

April 22, 2013 | By | Comments (5)

Have you heard of Wello.co? If you can’t afford a personal trainer at your local gym (or can’t seem to find the time to get out of the house to meet with one), this cool, new fitness site can connect you to one—live—through your computer. All the instructing, correcting and motivating happens through your webcam. The rates are cheaper than in-person (starting at $19 for a half-hour session), and the trainers can meet with you whenever’s convenient. There are group classes too—from yoga to Pilates to strength-training.

So what do you think? Would you give this site a try, or do you think personal-training has to happen in person?

Yay! I love Wello – I’ve been doing the group yoga workouts for the past couple of weeks and it’s so fab i’ve decided to start one on one sessions with the instructor so I can take my flexibility and strength to the next level!! It’s been so easy and fun!!
