It’s April, which means spring showers will be here shortly. You know you’re not supposed to wear suede in the rain—but it’s so tempting! The material is ideal for this in-between weather. So here’s a 3-step plan to follow should your favorite suede garment accidentally get soaked.
1. Let the jacket dry fully at room temperature. Be patient! This can take as long as 24 hours,
2. Use a suede eraser (you can find them at drugstores) to feather the edges of any watermarks.
3. Finally, brush the surface with a velvet lint brush to lift the nap and restore the coat’s texture.
