Create Your Own Subscription Box

I got the chance to speak with Vera Gibbons of Yahoo! Financially Fit a few days ago about all of the beauty and food subscription boxes that are available on the market, but what do you do if you can’t find one that’s right for you?

Amazon Subscribe & Save

Luckily, you can actually create your own “subscription box” of a sort using the Amazon Subscribe and Save program. While it won’t help you discover new products, it will help you get those essentials you need without having to make a trip to the drugstore. Simply browse Amazon’s Subscribe and Save page to see what products you’ll need on a regular basis—laundry detergent, hand soap, toilet paper and even your  favorite lunch time snacks are all available. Then set up how often you want to receive each item and you’re done. Plus, if you have five or more items per month that you “subscribe” to, Amazon will give you a 15 percent discount on each order. Not a bad deal, right?

Check out the video of Vera and I discussion the subscription boxes currently available, a few more of our favorite subscription boxes, and Amazon’s Subscribe and Save program.

This is so helpful. I’ll send my husband a link for future preasents! I would also like to know of more masculine options for him, say in the “gifts” issue you put out each fall. Thank you.
