Whether you’re serving red or white wine at your next dinner, remember the 15-minute rule for pouring wine.

White wine, because it’s generally served too cold, you should take it out of the refrigerator 15 minutes before serving.

Red wine, on the other hand, should be served a bit cooler than room temperature, so put it in to the fridge 15 minutes before serving and it should be just right.
