Would You Use Them: Lock Laces?

Lock Laces

Do you have problems with your sneakers coming untied when you’re running or at the gym? I don’t normally, but on occasion I’ve had to stop mid-workout to re-tie my laces. For that reason, I like the idea of Lock Laces—bungee laces that you tighten with the plastic clasp.

Have you ever tried Lock Laces or a similar product? If so, what did you think? My only concern would be that the elastic would stretch out too quickly making it difficult to keep your shoes “tied” tight.

You can buy Lock Laces for $8 at locklaces.com.

Love them…my shoes have them and I have been wearing them for over a year and the laces are still as tight as at the beginning of use. I had hip surgery and could not bend over to tie my shoes…I got these shoes with the bungee laces and everyone who had to help be get my shoes on where ecstatic about them….so easy to get off and on. I could always find someone willing to pull on the little clasp. A great invention….wish it had been even sooner.

These are awesome. I’m an avowed hater of tying shoelaces and now i don’t have to! If you like them on FB you can get a coupon for a free set before March 31.

I use similar ones for triathlons. When I rotate my running shoes to gym shoes the laces stay on. Super easy & the elastic has never worn out.
