Foundation Application Trick: Wet the Makeup Sponge
Want your foundation to go on more smoothly and cover your skin better? (Is there anyone who didn’t answer yes to that question?) If you do, try this trick tomorrow. Wet your makeup sponge (we swear by the Beauty Blender), and then wring it out so it’s almost dry. Then put a small amount of your foundation on the back of your hand, and apply from there. You’ll be amazed at how much better your foundation goes on and how many more, ahem, imperfections it covers. Just be sure to give your skin time to absorb the makeup and dry off. I use the same trick for my BB cream as well.

yes! i recently bought a beauty blender which works the same way and it is literally my favorite purchase yet of 2013.
well my best beauty trick is : when I apply lipstick , I first apply the lip linear with the color I want, then apply neutral shade lipstick color, and mix them together to get the color I want.
If you want a lipstick that stays, use your lip liner all over your lips after you line them. I usually put a gloss over it, but it’s not necessary.
This REALLY works! I’ve been doing this for years.
