Reusable Lint Brush: the Lilly Brush
Last month, after I shared how to use a disposable razor to remove sweater pills, a few readers commented that they use and love the Lilly Brush.
I decided that I needed to give it a try. I tested one out, and while it’s not quite as effective as a fabric shaver, it definitely works and is safer for your sweaters since there are no blades involved. I had to pick a few pills off of my sweater that the brush didn’t take care of, but I was also pleasantly surprised at how well the brush worked on my black felt skirt that seems to be a magnet for all the lint in the world. What normally would take me 4 sheets on my adhesive lint roller was easy with the Lilly Brush and I could simply clean out the brush as necessary. It felt much less wasteful.
You can buy the Lilly Brush for $13 at lillybrush.com.

I’ve been using my Lilly Brush since November – still as effective as the day I got it. Love it!
The Lilly Brush was one of the best holiday gifts I received this year! This product is a “must have” for any sweater lover!
I need one of these!! Where can they be purchased? Stores like Target or bed bath and beyond? Thanks for the help!
Wow, the Lilly Brush looks perfect! Definitely going to have to order one of these.
I need a second Lilly Brush. The one I have used to reside in the “ironing” station in my basement but has taken up permanent residence in my purse. I Lilly Brush so often it’s become a mindless habit. If I’m wearing a sweater, inevitably I will look down, see a pill and out comes the Lilly Brush (at my desk, on the phone, in the car). Very easy to clean too. Run warm water over the bristles and then tap the brush in the side of the sink. Any lint that’s trapped between the bristles falls right off. It’s great product and definately advocates eco-friendly living.
I really want one, but I’m studying abroad in Paris. Where can I get one here?
The Lilly Brush works very well on sweaters and even better on fleece!
I LOVE my Lily Brush especially when using it on cashmere. Recently at my book club meeting, I got my brush out and did a demonstration.
The Lilly Brush is amazing. I use it on one of my cardigans that seems to always attract lint. It’s a must-have when I go to cardy parties. Other reasons I love my Lilly Brush is that it promotes living a greener lifestyle plus it’s aesthetically pleasing compared to a lint roller. <3
I have a number of sweaters I paid quite a bit for, and they’re getting older—still great, but showing a few of those pills. I got the black Lilly Brush, I am a guy after all, and it really worked. My nice sweaters look almost like new and that makes me happy. Awesome product.
I am so excited to learn about the Lilly Brush. I have a huge collection of natural fiber sweaters, several of which have been destroyed by sweater shavers:/. Reading the reviews on Amazon it looks like this is the answer to all my sweater problems, and cheaper too! I’d love to see a before and after, can you post a follow-up??
I’ve been using the LilyBrush for months, now, and it’s terrific for both wool clothing of any kind and even upholstery–whether you’re trying to get rid of pills, or dog hair. Definitely recommend!
I use my Lilly Brush all the time. I live in Colorado and my sweaters are staple in my winter wardrobe. I don’t what I would do without my Lilly Brush. It is the best way to care for my cashmere and wool.

I like that the Lilly Brush is reusable and gentle on my sweaters. We have huskies so I inevitably end up with their fur on my clothes when I leave the house in the morning. Lilly Brush works for removing stubborn pet hair too.
I have a favorite cashmere sweater that I wear all the time an absolutely adore. Naturally it has started to get pilly, but I didn’t want to use just any item to get rid of the pills. The Lilly Brush has been the perfect tool to get my favorite sweater as good as new! I wouldn’t use anything else!
thanks for the article, good feedback too. Going to give this a try.
I’ve had my Lilly Brush for a few months and it keeps my sweaters and suits looking fresh. Great value!
I received my Lilly Brush for Christmas, and have used it regularly ever since. I find that it not only works well on my sweaters, but is fabulous for removing pet hair from upholstery. We have a cat that sheds on everything he gets near. Out comes the Lilly Brush, and the furniture looks good as new. It works just as well on dog hair that shows up on dark skirts and pants. It is much easier to use than the sticky lint rollers, and of course is discreetly portable.

I gave out several Lily Brushes for Xmas and have been using one since last year… By far the best, and most portable, reliable, dog hair removal product out there…Friends who got it love it and have been able to take it with them everywhere. My cashmere sweaters have been revived after a couple of years of use as well. My golden retriever is no match for the Lily Brush!
I received my Lilly Brush one month ago and absolutely love it. It’s one of those products that makes you wonder why it was not made a long time ago. Attractive design and colors, great size that fits in your purse. The perfect gift for friends and coworkers. Goodbye paper lint roller!
Looks much safer for my sweaters than the “electric razor” style pill removers. I love the modern design and red color.
I have needed this Lillybrush for a long time! Couldn’t deal with the sticky roller sheets anymore, and my old, favorite sweaters look good again! :). It’s awesome.
Yay for the Lilly Brush!
