Worth Watching: How to Be Vulnerable

February 25, 2013 | By | Comments (2)

In our soon-to-be-released April issue, we’ll be sharing some sage advice from Brené Brown, research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work and the author of Daring Greatly. A couple of years ago, she gave a TEDx Talk on vulnerability, and we think it’s still worth watching.

What do you think of her advice? Tell us in the comments.

INteresting. Good advice. Her speaking skills would be improved by dropping “she goes….”and “l was like….”.

I enjoyed this talk very much and thank you posting it. My daughter attended this talk in Houston and found it to be helpful personally as well as professionally as a psychology grad student. I think she’s great and with regard to her speaking skills, personally, I found her conversing style to be beautiful & down-to-earth.
