Adding Design Interest to a Neutral Room via Apartment Therapy
Patterned wallpaper and/or fabric used to line the inside of bookshelves is something that I am seeing a lot of these days. Is this design feature on the up and up or am I just late to the game? Either way, I really like it.
According to a recent post from our friends at apartmenttherapy.com, DC designer Marika Meyer uses soft details to jazz up neutral color palettes—including adding patterned fabric to the back of a bookcase, like seen in this picture. What a lovely idea! We’re just moving into a very modern apartment, all minimal with wooden floors and white walls and have been wondering how we can add some pattern whilst still creating a simple, clean look!
