Alphabet Soup

If you’re ever read an issue of Real Simple, you know there’s nothing we love more than organized spaces. So we were pretty much glued to our computer screens when we received these stunning (and funny) images from Swiss artist Ursus Wehrli’s new book, The Art of Clean Up: Life Made Neat and Tidy—in bookstores today. Wehrli’s obsessed with order—and not just in his sock drawer or closet. In the book, he organizes every collection of objects under the sun, like the alphabet soup above. Here are few more before-and-after images:

Thoroughly inspired? Then go organize something of your own. (Check out these low-cost ideas before getting started.)

I love it. I did that to my husband’s side of the closet yesterday to be perfectly honest.
