New Uses for Your French Press from TheKitchn
I love my French press. I don’t have one quite this fancy, in fact I’ve been using this travel one to make coffee at my desk, but it is my favorite way to prepare coffee. And until now, I’ve thought of the French press as unitasker in the kitchen—basically good for brewing coffee or loose leaf tea, but the editors at TheKitchn have changed my mind. Here are a few of the things they’ve discovered you can do with your French Press:
1. Froth milk (and if you are really determined, make whipped cream)
2. Rinse and drain quinoa
3. Infuse oils and liquors
4. Strain anything
Do you have a new use for your French press coffeemaker? I’d love to hear about it in the comments. And of course, we’ve got several new uses for things in your kitchen to get the ideas flowing.
